Janine Nicol, RN has been in the health care field for 21+ years. Her work includes a variety of patient care areas but she has a special interest in Moms and babies. She has worked in various Post Partum units and is a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. In the last few years, Janine’s work has taken on a more holistic approach, focusing the attention on patient care instead of medical care.
Janine's passion is to work with kids and their families. She has an innate drive to support breastfeeding, even though she did not grow up in a strong environment supporting breastfeeding. Personally, Janine breast feed her daughter for two years. Her path with breastfeeding had initial struggles due to a health issue and despite her health care professionals wondering if she would be able to breastfeed, she was successful.
